Aztec has three main areas of involvement with submersible borehole pumps:
- Supply and installation of automated pumping systems
- Well servicing and maintenance
- Test Pumping to obtain information on aquifer characteristics
Supply and Installation
Aztec Engineering design and install industrial submersible pump systems. Operation can be remotely controlled with pumping parameters and water levels relayed to an Aztec server in real time. More information on this can be downloaded and viewed.
Well Service, Maintenance and Remediation
Water wells, like any other industrial installation, need inspection on a regular basis with maintenance and rehabilitation as needed. Although this varies from well to well, Aztec’s standard service and maintenance procedures are outlined in this presentation.
Test Pumping
Aztec specialize in aquifer test pumping and have purpose-built equipment to test flowrates from <1 L/s to 100 L/s in ambient temperatures from -50 to +50C. Our submersible test pumps are driven through a variable speed drive and controlled through a Siemens PLC controller. More details are available in this Test Pumping presentation.
